Mark O’Connell, W2 Consulting is to speak at the upcoming¬†North America/Europe Transatlantic Airport Conference “Airports and Tourism Industries Working Together”. The event hosted by the¬†American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE) along with Shannon Airport will take place from June 29-July 1 at the Castletry Park Hotel, Limerick, Ireland.

This transatlantic conference will explore the critical role aviation and airports play in tourism development. Topics will include how airports, airlines and tourism organizations can work together for the benefit of the traveling public; the mutual benefits of aviation and tourism industries joining forces; tourism successes in Shannon and Ireland and the embracing of the Wild Atlantic Way Concept; trade marketing within this sphere, and revenue-generating synergies. Speakers will include prominent officials from various airports, airlines, federal government agencies and tourism organizations throughout Ireland, Europe and the U.S.
